I went to this page to download, install and most importantly of all use the 'contact sheet' feature (a feature that was - for some mysterious reason - 'removed as an update' on CS5!)photoshop-cs3-optional-plugins.html.

We have components that avaialable in both 304 and 316. We have seperated stock codes for each of the selections what I would like to do is to come up with a way that I don't need multiple models of these features. The deisgns are virtually the same except for the material change.
In previous cad systems I used a tabled system in the model that would allow you to vary paramters such as Iproperties or even dimensions in one model.

Back in 2010, I created several optional properties in pipes for labeling purposes.
The file I modified is: AeccPartParamCfg.xml
I have migrated this file to 2011, 2012, 2013 without any issue. In 2014, I am getting a run time error for one of the optional properties and therefore that option is no longer working.
Created optional properties and run into problems in 2014? Works fine in all my previous releases of Civil 3D using the same parameter file.
Attached is the Parameter file and error at start up.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Part Catalog Optional Parameter Not Showing Up?

In 2013, I had an optional part parameter for pipes called 'Velocity', and it worked fine. We use a network catalog, and I was trying to use the same part catalog for 2014, but it gave me a Runtime Part Parameter Configuration Error for the Parameter Name 'VEL'. So I copied the 'Pipes Catalog' folder from my C drive for 2014 and pasted it to the network. I then revised the AeccPartParamCfg.xml in the AeccShared Content folder with the same information as I had in the previous network catalog.
Specifically, I added the following line in the xml file
'<AeccDfParameter name='VEL' desc='Velocity' context='FlowVelocity' index='0' datatype='Float' usage='Double_General' unit=' visible='True' internal='True'/>'
and further down in the xml file under
' <AeccParamUsage>
<AeccPartDomainCfg domain='Pipe_Domain'>'
I added the line '<AeccOptParam context='FlowVelocity'/>'

I got the same error when I opened C3D 2014. I added an underscore between Flow and Velocity for context, and it worked! (See attachment 2-Revised AeccPartParamCfg xml file.JPG)
So C3D 2014 opens without the error. I click on Part Builder and click on RCP (formerly Concrete Pipe from OOTB part catalog) under pipes. I right click on Size Parameters and click 'Add..' which takes me to the New Parameter dialog box as seen in attachment 3.JPG. It shows three of the optional properties I have added: Pipe Classification, Friction Slope, and Velocity.
I add these three optional properties and edit their configurations as seen in attachment 3.JPG. I give Friction Slope and Velocity both a range of 0 to 1000 with a default of 0.
I create a new parts list and add the part family RCP. I click to add part sizes and get the final dialog box on attachment 3.JPG. Velocity doesn't show up! Pipe Classification and Friction Slope show up, but no velocity!
I have tried deleting the 'VEL' line in the xml file, copying the 'FSL' line and pasting and revising it for velocity, but that didn't work. I tried switching the FSL and VEL lines in the xml file to see if FSL would disappear and VEL would appear, but that had no effect.

In the drawing environment, is it possible to use the same file to show a client (example) option a or option b from the file? Meaning, can I create a separate side by side view in the idw using the same assembly file, but in different suppressed states? Or how does this work specifically? Right now all I have done is saved out the file with the different suppressed state showing, but this became obviously cumbersome quickly since the parts are similar and keep updating, thus forcing me to create yet even more optional files. I'm thinking that iLogic could be a possible fix.

I have been trying to install the optional plug-in to the Photoshop extended software but somehow a series of error occurs when trying to start up the photosop program (see error pictures). As I am not sure which plug-in folders (32- bit or 64 bit) to install,
so i copied all the files from the folders (32- bit and 64 bit)Â from the installation disk, under Goodies folder, and paste to the program file/adobe/photoshopCS4/pulg-in. During the pasting process, it prompted me to overwrite the existing files with the ones I paste, so I overwrite them.
Then, I start up the photoshop software, and it prompted me a series of errors.What should I do to remove the errors? Did I installed it the wrong way?I wanted to get the 'Extract' function in photoshop but the function is not in the photoshop extended (CS4) as it had in photoshop CS2 before.

I own Design and web Premium CS6 and Lightroom 5.2 running with NIK and Canon Printer iPF9100 plugins running just fine on a Win7 machine.
I purchased and installed PhotoShop CC about a month ago/ When I start PhotoShop CC from the exec file the NIK and Canon plugins do not show up. If I am in Lightroom and ask to edit in PhotoShop CC the file opens in PhotoShop CC and I can access both plugins. If I am in Lightroom the NIK plugin is available and works just fine.

I use Photoshop CS3. All plug-ins used to work before. Now with some of the plug-ins (liquify+vanishing point+artistic for example) the following happens:
- plug-in dialog window opens
- i can make changes and see the preview of them in the plug-in window
- i can apply the plug-in
- then PS displays a dialog saying something like 'applying effect.'
- but when that is finished I'm back at my original image without the plug-in effect being applied (nothing shows in history window)
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling Photoshop but the problem remains. I even tried installing a demo of PS CS4 but have the same problem with that version.
The error appears on the plugins with a more sophisticated user interface, the ones with the basic UI (like gaussian blur etc) still work ok.

I have an old version of Photoshop (3.0) which I've never updated because frankly it still suits my needs.(which are limited). I realized recently that when I switched from Windows 95 to Windows 98 se a few years back I lost some of my filters, like clouds and mezzotint, ripple, lighting and a handful of others. I've recently converted from CS5 to CS6. I noticed that CS6 was pointing to CS5 for plugins rather than CS6. I made the mistake of trying to move the plugin folder from CS5 to CS6, which made a bit of a mess. I ended up reinstalling CS6, getting the most current updates, and uninstalling and reinstalling my Nik plugins, and this time they went into the correct folder (CS6 instead of CS5) -- no problem, everything worked, except for Dfine which said it was only compatible with CS5.
I got the most recent version, which is to work for CS6; I uninstalled the old Dfine; installed the new one. Everything looks fine. Except that when I attempt to use it in CS6, it crashes completely and shuts everything down. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and gotten new downloads, etc. But this continues to happen. Everything else seems to work fine. The plug-ins are all together where they are supposed to be.
They all show up on the filter menu. I've exhausted all possibilities on the Nik side, and now I'm wondering if there's something on the Adobe Photoshop side.
